App Review: Texting’s GateKeeper: Heywire’s Business Messenger App.

Are your texts one big blur? Friends tangled with business contacts, and co-worker updates lost in the list? Business Messenger by HeyWire may have an answer. Designed for sales people, the app lets you chat with anyone without giving them access to your mobile phone number. It organizes your incoming texts and retrieves texts that your clients have sent to other phone lines. Working with both Mac and Windows devices, texts are encrypted and voice texts can be sent as well. Free if you just want to receive texts, users pay $9.99 after 60 days to send an unlimited number of texts between the U.S. and Canada. It's an added cost you might think you don't want, but it's a cleaner way to separate business chatter from your personal contacts. We could all use little more boundary between the two.
