Advisor digital workflow provider Hearsay Systems is offering a new event-triggered mobile solution, called Advisor Actions, according to the company. The solution is powered by a new API, which allows advisors to build custom action sets with prescriptive next steps, relayed automatically to a CRM application. The tool comes on the heels of the launch of Relate, which allowed advisors to quickly send messages and make calls, compliantly, from a dedicated business number.

As an example, following a client call, Hearsay would present a menu of actions an advisor might typically take, such as scheduling a meeting or making a referral. An advisor could review the “smart triggers,” and indicate, for example, that a client was interested in discussing refinancing a home. That would in turn push an action to the advisor’s CRM system, triggering an email campaign or a note for future discussions on planning around the client’s future action.

Advisors can also use the product for prospecting. After a prospect visits an advisor’s website to review materials and create a basic financial plan, the activity might trigger a Hearsay Advisor Action cue. The advisor would be notified of the visit and could even send a pre-written, compliance-approved message to engage with the potential client and set up a call or meeting.

“Like anyone, advisors have their mobile phones with them at all times,” said Clara Shih, Hearsay CEO and founder. “Hearsay Advisor Actions removes the guesswork and context-switching, allowing advisors to optimize how they and their staff spend time with simple click-to-call and click-to-send mobile notifications any time and on any mobile device."
