PFIX seeks to provide a hedge against a sharp increase in long-term interest rates. The fund holds a large position in over-the-counter (OTC) interest rate options intended to provide a direct and transparent convex exposure to large upward moves in interest rates and interest rate volatility. Using OTC derivatives usually only available to institutional investors, PFIX is designed to be functionally similar to owning a position in long-dated put options on 20-year US Treasury bonds. Since the option position is held for extended periods the ETF provides a simple and transparent interest rate hedge.
The investment objective of UNL is to have the changes in percentage terms of the units net asset value reflect the changes in percentage terms of the spot price of natural gas delivered at the Henry Hub Louisiana as measured by the changes in the average of the prices of 12 futures contracts on natural gas traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange consisting of the near month contact to expire and the contracts for the following eleven months for a total of 12 consecutive months’ contracts except when the near month contract is within two weeks of expiration in which case it will be measured by the futures contract that is the next month contract to expire and the contracts for the following eleven consecutive months less UNL’s expenses.
OIH seeks to replicate as closely as possible, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MVIS US Listed Oil Services 25 Index. The Index is a rules-based index intended to track the overall performance of 25 of the largest U.S. listed, publicly traded oil services companies.

The oil and gas equipment and services segment of the S&P TMI comprises the Oil & Gas Drilling sub-industry and the Oil & Gas Equipment & Services sub-industry.
