Here's a fun fact to know and tell: The average fortune that men and women demand when it comes to “marrying for money” is $1.5 million, according to a recent survey by Prince & Associates, a Connecticut-based wealth research firm. Of the 1,134 people surveyed nationwide with incomes ranging from $30,000 to $60,000, women in their 20s set their sights highest at $2.5 million. Women in their 30s were most likely (74 percent) to marry for money. On average, men said they would settle for a sugar mama with $1.1 million.
