Shelton, Conn.-based Procyon Partners, a Dynasty partner wealth management firm with about $3 billion in assets under advisement, has recruited Steven Mitchell, a former managing director of wealth management at UBS, in New York City. At UBS, he advised on over $2 billion in client assets.

Mitchell, who was at UBS since 2008, will join advisor Jim Jeffrey at Procyon’s New York office at 300 Park Avenue. He specializes in retirement, financial planning and lending capabilities for ultra-high-net-worth families.

“He brings a wealth management and lending expertise that will expand the services and resources that Procyon’s Private Wealth group specializes in,” said Procyon Partners CEO Phil Fiore, in a statement. “We plan to continue this theme of expansion and will be making additional announcements in the near future.”
