As a professional financial advisor, I had more than 15 years experience managing financial assets for individuals and corporations. I was a co-founder of the Wise Investor Group in Reston, Virginia and most recently the head of the Investment Analysis team. My experience also includes building entrepreneurial business ventures from start-up to eventual sale, as well as providing accounting services for public firms and private corporations. I received my BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and MBA in Finance from Shenandoah University. I'm also an author, seminar lecturer and a previous host of The Wise Investor Show on WMAL 630 AM in Washington DC and the Midweek Update podcast on iTunes.
I recently retired from Robert W. Baird and my role with the Wise Investor Group, although I remain available to them as a consultant. I am also focused on helping individual financial advisors successfully secure their retirement by developing comprehensive succession plans and addressing any transition issues within their business.
CEO/Founder of AdvisorHUB and Managing Director of Axiom Consulting. Former financial advisor at Oppenheimer. AdvisorHub is the first of its kind, created to support the transition of the financial advisor, and by association, the value of their practice. AdvisorHUB is the first app to ever publish information about financial advisor recruiting deals for advisors seeking to move firms – including Morgan Stanley, UBS and Merrill Lynch. It also provides daily and weekly columns sharing unique perspectives on the industry, straight from a team of the country’s top advisors. By providing this information, the app inserts transparency into an otherwise time- consuming recruiting process.
