Wealth Strategist

Role/Responsibilities:
As a Wealth Strategist in the International Private Bank, Los Angeles, you will be an integral member of a client relationship team. The team will work with our clients to develop comprehensive wealth management plans to meet their financial goals and objectives. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of strategic and tactical solutions and strategies in the areas of international estate planning, international trusts and corporations, tax planning, US taxation of non-resident aliens, limited domestic estate planning and use of international insurance products. You will also coordinate the efforts of outside professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants and insurance agents, to ensure the proper implementation of these strategies.

You will also:

  • partner with Private Client Advisors (PCA) in client acquisition, expansion and retention efforts,

  • travel domestically and internationally with PCA’s,

  • understand product offerings to aid in the identification of appropriate products and services to fulfill specific client needs,

  • enhance client experiences by providing timely, responsive and appropriate advise and guidance,

  • provide technical advise, training and support to the local market,

  • represent the International Private Bank in the community through participation in professional organizations and presentation engagements, and

  • participate in and advance the efforts of the national financial practice.



Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of international trust, corporate or tax experience working with high net-worth individuals required

  • CPA, JD, CFP, LL.M, Master’s or other related professional degree

  • Bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English required

  • Ability to travel frequently

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and organizational skills

  • Strong computer skills
