Experienced Manager to Lead Regional New Business Efforts Across PRIMEDIA’s Real Estate Publications

New York – September 18, 2002 – PRIMEDIA Business’ Real Estate Group announced today the appointment of Neil Dant to the newly created position of West Coast sales manager for National Real Estate Investor and Shopping Center World magazines. Mr. Dant, who brings to his new position over 15 years of experience developing business at content and media companies, will be responsible for implementing integrated sales and marketing initiatives throughout the West Coast region including those that will further solidify the magazines’ leadership in the real estate category. Mr. Dant will be based in the Irvine, CA office and will handle California, Colorado, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, Idaho and Western Canada.

Mr. Dant joins PRIMEDIA Business’ Real Estate Group after most recently serving as an account executive for The Golf Digest Companies, which includes monthly consumer publication Golf Digest, weekly consumer publication Golf World and monthly trade publication Golf World Business. There he led the $2 million western sales territory, establishing a 70% market share.

Prior to that, Mr. Dant served as the western regional sales manager for Babcox Publications, the leading trade publisher in the twenty-five automotive aftermarkets. He was one of only two salespeople to exceed his 1998 performance level in 1999 and he exceeded sales goals in each of the five years of his employment.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Dant held sales positions with the Performance Racing Industry and Penton Publishing. He holds a BA in Marketing Communications from Bowling Green State University.
