Have been watching this forum for a couple of weeks, amazed at many of the personal attacks, many of you need to grow up. I have been in this business for more than 30 years and still do well over 1mill. in production. This firm is most certainly being shopped, have heard from a good source that Warren Buffet had been contacted, UBS maybe. Ludeman is not much of a leader and I am sure Wells is not to impressed I believe Wells was forced to take the firm by the Fed to get Citi out of the running initially. Wells has taken over ISG and really doesn’t want the retail side. It will be sold, problem is more and more brokers are leaving every day, therefore the value continues to decline, not really our problem except that this firm could fold right before our eyes, could be pure hell trying to get acats out. Something to ponder.

Ferris Bueller:

30 years to get to 1M in production? Talk about pacing yourself.

"have been in this business for more than 30 years and still do well over 1mill"   Think you misunderstood..sounds to me like he came out like a rocket and and has dropping but still putting up the rips!!

Ferris, you are such a jerk - there is quite probably merit in what Maxter thinks

do think if nothing is said by the end of next week on name/retention that he is right about trying to shop it. Would think even the believers on here will really have to start to wonder whats up?

How is it in reg rep land, everyone is a million + dollar producer?  We have 30 producers in our office and not 1 million dollar man.  1 is in striking distance and 1 is another buck off.  What are the statistical odds that all the million doller men post here?  I would think it would have to be in  the millions since the national average income of a stock broker / financial planner is between 60 & 70 k per year.......Hmmmmmmmmmmmm........  Kinda looks like Al Gores fuzzy math....

Well Bud it is true.  I am also a multimillion dollar producer just keeping up on the news.  I would like to know where the rumer got started that UBS has some big announcment  on Friday?

Don’t forget Mr. Buffet, is I think, one of largest shareholders of Wells, probably only reasonable that Wells would at least talk to him about sale, spin off etc. I would tend to agree LOL, however we are in very strange times.

And why is it that all of these million + dollar producers always feel compelled to tell all of us lowly average producers that they are "million + dollar" producers. It's as though they wear that production as if it's some badge of honor.
