Hello All,

I am six months into my career with AXA. This is my first career and I am curios about getting some insight about what people think about the company. I have seen some negative reviews on other boards and was wondering if anyone could share their experience or thoughts. Is there a real major difference between AXA and some of its competitors, or does it come down to the advisor himself and not the company, which is what i originally thought.

it is what you make of it. But, if you are getting paid higher than the standard 40% by B/D you are better off there. don't worry about the name - it does not matter.

I did pretty well there, top producer each year I was there.  However, be very careful with the comp plan.  I left on my terms for another position.  Now, 8 months later they are trying to collect almost $20,000 from me for comissions on cases that I sold, closed are still in force.  but i am no longer there.

The moral of the story is do not close any business for 12 months before you plan on leaving, they will just collect it back.
