Did a search and nothing came up.  I’m looking for opinions on backing up your data online where the service automatically uploads your desktop or server data and secures it (i.e. Carbonite, IBackup, MozyPro, etc.).  I asked our BD about this and they’re fine as long as it’s password protected and the website is secure.  Is anyone doing this?  How do you backup your sensitive data?  Any recommendations?

Some of my client’s have used Carbonite.  It works well, but you need to make sure you test it at least once a month.  I have found some of them stop working randomly, even the very good providers.  For servers Mozy is good.  I recently wrote an article for the FPA on this subject.  I can email it to you if you wish.
