Hey all,

It's been a long time since I've posted, but I read all the time.  I have been indy for three years now and am loving active management.    I discovered a great tool that I use for about 20% of most portfolios.  It has been quite successful so far.  It only costs me $12 bucks a month!  Talk about "bang for the buck", regardless as to how much the buck crashes....   The site is www.researchtrade.com. I found the promotional code "Indyadvisor" that reduces the price from $15 to $12.  Annual is even cheaper.   It is a simple date and earnings based trending site.  Very basic info, so you have to still do additional research before making trades... but it has helped me look like a genious so far.   Anyway, Check it out if you need something...   R2J

And by the way, being an ex-EDJ guy, making me look like a genius is very difficult…

Hey, genius.  Tell us what  your stake in this website/program is before we continue this conversation.  I’m not opposed to a guy making a buck, but a little disclosure would be nice.

Nothing…  just trying to help… geez… never mind then!

I do not work for them! I work for my clients!

Then why are you posting everywhere?

Dec 1, 2009 9:31 pm

To… help… you…  Is it really that complicated?

These forums helped me more than I can every explain when I was trying to decide on indy.  It was the best decision I have ever made...   Are these forums not to help each other... or are they just here to bash EDJ?   I'm good either way, BTW...   Again - I have NOTHING TO GAIN here...   And to answer your question more directly, if by "everywhere" you mean here and in "clients", it's because I posted here first, then remembered that only nerdy advisors read the "technology" section... I've never read or posted in "technology" before...   Does that answer your question Urkel?

And let me guess, you’re probably paying +$500 a month for research… am I right?

Three computer screens on your desk... am I close?

Nope research is included on my platform
