I currently have a series 7, and 66, and CFP - looking to transition from a small independent (I have no book - have just been an internal financial planner) to a wirehouse training program.  Have an interview with UBS - what could I expect in a training program if I am already licensed and what type of salary could I expect to land?

Thanks

I am in the same position as you, Fully Licensed and CFP. I interviewed with smith barney, UBS and Merill. They all offered between 40k to 45K in the training program. I took SB @ 40k.

Cash0308 - thanks for the info.  Did you interview with them all at once or were you able to give Smith Barney an answer after completing interviews with the others?

Also - do you have a book of business to bring over?

Thanks

Good choice, cash.  SSB is very selective and they bring on very few trainees.
