have an interview with SB within the next couple days for the financial advisor program. I do not meet there experience requirment for a new FA's  but I do have Series 7, 66 and Life, Accident and Health. The branch manager said he is only going to meet with me for the reason that he respects what I am trying to accomplish. He asked me why I am not trying to interview in the branch offices in my home state, I said that he was the first person I have been in contact with at SB so there must have been something that sparked a match to wanna know my goals are. I know his real curosity was because of the reason I applied to a branch that is not in my area. So I am going to meet with him for about an hour or two to understand what my motivation is and what not. Then there is a test I have to take that is called a Sales Inventory test that determines if I will be allowed a second interview. My question is what is on this test ???because I didnt want to ask because I was already on thin ICE.

He said the buisness marketing plan I would represent would  be presented in front of several members of there management team. Then he said it would be under more scruitney that it would have been if I lived in the same of the branch I am applying for and if I already had a proven track record in sales. So he pretty much said it was going to have to be an interview that was not going  to be forgotten for a while. Then if  there was a decision to be made ,to hire me or someone who lives in same state they would go go with the candidate that has already  has built relationships with  people in the area.  So after of being told all of the obstacles I would be facing did I still want to still pursue  this . I replied with if It doesn’t work out then I would  wasn’t  going to be disappointed  because the opportunity  was given to me to present my reason why I should work there .

I AM VERY SORRY FOR THE LENGTH OF THIS POST, I JUST WANT ANY ADVICE THAT COULD BE OFFERED TO ME.
