First off thanks for taking the time to respond to my inquiry...greatly appreciated.

I got hired at an investment firm about two weeks ago and have been studying for the series 7 with the Kaplan material. I did self sponsorship and passed the series 66 and my life and health exams prior to starting.

I'm having a diffucult time with the Kaplan material (the way that it's written and the language they use to explain the topics..the video libary I feel doesn't do a great job..the instructors are literally reading from the slides with no additional analysis). I used training consultants for both the 66 and life/health and passed with both. I'm wondering if anyone has used TC for the series 7 and what your thoughts might be. I'm taking my exam in about 5 weeks and wanted to know if it's worth spending the $450 out of pocket to switch materials. Thanks!

I’m wondering about the same thing. Also, how come nobody answers your question here or try to enlighten us? Please help us!

1 more questions, anyone know the tc lawsuit result? Googled but didn’t find final result. Thank you!

The case was settled. I don’t know the results of the settlement.

I took the 7 a couple weeks ago and passed using the Training Consultants test bank and FireSolutions. I would highly recommend using the TC test bank as a supplemental resource and continue with the Kaplan material. Hope this helps.

Thank you guys! I think the plan above sounds good. I probably use study guides from both Kaplan & TC , then the test questions thing. If anyone could guess at all, you don’t think FINRA took all the exam questions that were very close to TC’s practice exams out, do you?

Thanks so much!

I used Training Consultants for both my 7 and 66, I would highly recommend them, although Tina can be a bit tedious but she does work.

I just passed the 66 this morning using only training consultants. I probably had 20-30 questions that were identical to the practice tests. I have to say, it was a very hard test. I imagine supplementing your TC material with another program (not firesolutions) would be the best way to go.

I used only TC, studied for a month, and passed last Thursday with an 85%. TC is amazing, the way it’s worded overall and the lectures are great. A good amount of practice questions in TC’s exams are identical to the ones on the actual test. I recommend taking as many practice exams as you can and memorize the questions and concepts and you’ll be fine.

***If anyone needs my password to TC, I am selling the question bank for a cheap price, doesn’t expire until OCTOBER. Email me here or at [email protected]!!!

Hi!

I'm a girl from Poland and English is a second language. I just got a job in Financial Firm and this is a new world for me since previously I worked for Mortgage and Development Company.

In few weeks I'm taking Series 7 and 4 weeks after that Series 66. I only have one attempt to pass these tests and I want to make sure I'm really well prepared for them.

Can you please let me know if whoever was recently passing these tests if you still think that TC and Kaplan are the best way to go. I would really appriciate your help.

From what I know, my company will provide me with STC study materials but I prefer to invest some money in something that it's checked and better. I learned from lots of research that STC sucks and I don't want to risk.

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thank you!

Use Training Consultants. Kaplan finals aren't too bad. Use TC to learn the material, use Kaplan finals as an additional resource. Good luck.

TC IS THE BEST FOR 7 AND 66. I USED STC BEFORE AND IT DUCKED AND I FAILED MY 7. THEN I SWITCHED TO TC AND PASSED MY 66 WITH 80 AND MY SERIES 7 WITH 83 TODAY!!!! I CAN NOT THANK TC AND MS. TINA ENOUGH FOR MAKING THE MATERIAL SO EASY AND UNDERSTANDABLE FOR ME SINCE I AM NEW TO INDUSTRY. YOU MUST FOLLOW HER STEP AND STUDY AND REVIEW DURING THE FINAL PRACTISE EXAMS. BUNCH OF THE QUESTIONS ON THE EXAM WERE SIMILAR FORMAT TO PRACTISE TESTS. 2 OR 3 WERE EVEN EXACTLY THE SAME. TC IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME. KAPLAN AMD STC SUCKKKK. IF YOU WANNA PASS THAN GO WITH TC FOR SURE. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!! :) :) :)
