About 2 weeks ago I sat for and passed the Series 66. Prior to taking the exam, I started looking up extra tips and tricks and fell upon this website. All I read was horror stories about how hard the exam was and how tricky it was, and how people studied hundreds of hours and failed.
Reading all of these posts really made me worried and I started second guessing whether I had bought the right material (STC). Because everyone was praising Training Consultants and if you didnt have them there was no way you would pass.....ITS JUST NOT TRUE!!!!
I used STC and I didnt even take all the quizzes and I passed with an 84%. Reading all of these horror stories only hurt my confidence and made me stress. I studied for 3 weeks and put in a couple hours a day, nothing special.
READ THE BOOK, TAKE THE QUIZZES AND HAVE SOME CONFIDENCE AND YOU WILL PASS. NO MATTER WAHT MATERIAL YOU USE. DONT LET ALL THESE HORROR STORIES SCARE YOU!! IF YOU FAIL IT MORE THAN 3 TIMES, IM SORRY...YOU SHOULD NOT BE GIVING FINANCAIL ADVICE....ok im done, had to vent.
