Guys,

I am a new FA, I;'m starting as an associate financial advisor’s working with a huge producer. I just passed my series 7 (81%) and now I’m taking the 66 on Monday. Family stuff over the holiday sucked up all my time and now I need to cram.

Can I learn it in 5 days?  And can anyone recommend the most effective way to learn the material. Thanks for the help.

You can definitely learn it in 5 days if you study.  It’s mostly rote memorization.

How?  Read the material and take practice exams.  Odd question.   You DO have the material, don’t you?

Good luck Moneyguy! I just registered for Series 63. Yet to order materials. How long does it take average person to study for series 63?

Had a week to study and passed it without problem and I am a moron.

Thanks bondo that’s exactly what I wanted to hear!

I put in about 10 hours today and I officially hate the uniform securities act.  Tomorrow I only have about 2 hours to study. So Friday, Saturday and Sunday I am going to have to cram like never before. I guess that means I will not get to watch the playoffs this weekend…crap.

On second thought...maybe she could be good at prospecting?  She's obviously pretty efficient; sticks only to activities she can do on her knees!
Bravo, ice!

You can pass with about 40 hours of effort. Just spend about 20 of it in Uniform Securities Act, 10 of it in the Act of 1940. Your background with the Acts of 33/34 from the 7 will get you a few questions. Anybody with a financial background will be able to easily answer at least 8-10 questions (retirement account limits, pv, etc.).

Just dont spend equal time in all areas. Find the chapters in your book that are heavily tested and keep rereading.

As a woman I think the `'attacks" on BJQ are unwarranted. LOL at her efficiency though

Well, as a “non-moron” I think that making a new account named “MRSOBAMA,” after posting “Obama is hot!” as “BlowJobQueen” was a stupid move, and you aren’t fooling anybody. When you make your THIRD account to come on here and waste everyones time, try to do it with a name that doesn’t clue us in to the dimwit you really are.
FYI… I do NOT think Obama is hot! So i dont know what u are implying & besides I d not liike MEN bullyinng women on the internet thats why I was on BJQ’s side. If u are stressed …like ur username suggests…grab an Icfecold Dutch beer u’ll be fine. I suggest u grab a Grolsch! Ein lekker witte bier ! Proost! LOL!!

I passed the 66!

Jan 15, 2008 1:45 pm

I barely passed with a 74, although my practice tests were all in the mid 80’s. Overall I would say I spent around 35 hours.
