Any CPA’s here?

Are the clients very receptive both accounting and financial guidance?

I don't give accounting advice for liability reasons and people don't care what letters are after my name, anyway.

Yes, but I refer all accounting work to my CPA friends and they in turn refer investing prospects to me.  For me, it was a very easy decision…I like investment management much better and it is far more profitable.  Any time doing accounting work is time spent away from more profitable and satisfying activities.

Aw come on, Bobby…you don’t think it helps your credibility when making the sale?

A little, perhaps, but not much. What makes the sale is my ability to make them laugh and enjoy being with me. That, and the fact that I have a product that I can just tape a note on the back of a dog...

...that's why I voted to keep you and ban goforbroke...

Someday I may learn to really like you...be patient with me...

I missed a vote? Admit it. Deep down inside, you really do like me.

Sometimes, Bobby...just sometimes...I still remember you calling me a liar once when I mentioned being a CPA...I remember that like you remember the "tape a note on the back of a dog" comment...

One thing is becoming apparent...you're better than you used to be...your earlier incarnations would have been long since banned.

...and sometimes, you're damned funny.  Other times, you're a damned juvenile...but at least you understand that...

If you tape a note on the back of a dog and nobody reads it, does the note REALLY exist?

Don't be ashamed. I really like me, too.
