Anyone got any good cold call scripts (mostly concerned about the opening) that you have found that work for you to get an appointment or garner interest?

Always open with “Hi, my name is (state your name).”

Yes, I got that part.  I have three scripts I use now.  I am more looking for what you say after you say "Mr./Mrs _____, please.  Hi, Mr./Mrs. _____, this is (rep name) from (firm name) in (location)."

What do you say at that point?  Example would be:  "I am calling today to find out if you are open to new investment ideas."

Thanks.

One of the primary ways to get people to respond is that you give them
a very specific reason for them to contact you. Or have solved a
particular problem.

Most people are fed up with, "Hi, I’m from near you. It doesn’t give them a true incentive.

Basically, make a smooth transition from each part of the presentation. Remember the formula for sales success is AIDA. Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.

That means, most of your sales letters should contain a printed headline to catch Attention.

The headline should be followed by a salutation and then something interesting which captures the readers’s Interest.

And then, of course, you go on to whet their Desire for what you are selling.

Finally, you motivate him to Action to buy it.

Good luck.

Here’s a good script:

Uuuuuuuhhhhh huuuuhhhhh Uuuuuuuhhhhh huuuuhhhhh Uuuuuuuhhhhh huuuuhhhhh…what are you wearing right now?
