One of my friends that works in a resturant was approached by a
citigroup member asking him if he wanted to be an intern.  On his
card it said "Financial analysis"

What is citigroup and how is their reputation?

This post must be a joke.

Sure this "Financial analysis" wasn't from Primerica ?

Boy, how those folks like to drop the Citigroup name

At least they spelled it right…

If it is Primerica tell him to run

lol.  Actually this isn’t a joke.

I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on.

I spoke with one of the financial advisors at my workplace and they
told me that citigroup makes real financial advisors look bad.  He
said all they do is go around and sell life insurance claiming to be a
financial advisor He went on to say that they hire anyone and have no
clue what an annuity is.  He said all this before i told him about
how my friend was approached by a citigroup member.

You've never heard of Citigroup?

Umm, I don’t know what the guy at your work is talking about.
Citigroup’s brokerage division is Smith Barney, which is number 2 of
"the Big Three".  They define the standard for financial advisors.

The have SSB, Primerica and even have a few Citigroup offices throughout the country, although I am not sure how they differ.  There is a Citigroup office next to a grocery store by my house.

What is Citigroup...that is awesome.

I believe the financial advisor at my workplace was telling me that
because he had a friend who worked in a resturant that was also
approached by a citigroup member a few years back.
