Hello RR members,

I'm a newly licensed FA and want to understand the products we sell better than I do now.  I'm wondering if there's a book (or books), similar to a textbook, that explains stocks, options, ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, & etc. in detail.  I want to understand everything I can, essecially valuation, regarding these and other securities.

I guess what I'm looking for is an 'A' to 'Z' book covering securities and investment.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I am not sure about the A to Z book but the best book on investing that I have ever read by far is, "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham.  It covers some of the things you menioned, especially valuation.
