I don’t have any personal experience, but a friend of mine switched to them a few years ago and loves them.  I don’t remember who he is comparing them to, some small outfit I was not familiar with.

lol.  No, he was independent before, at some small BD.  So the change wasn’t to the way he did business, just a BD change.

I have not been impressed with the caliber of people I have met with SecuritiesAmerica.  That does not mean much, but I just have not seen anything to make me think they are selective.

When I first read this thread, I thought that I would take the time to write a detailed post about the good and bad of Securities America (SAI), as they have some very good attributes.

However, their operations department is so bad that there is no way SAI's positives can compensate for the continual drain that operations puts on my business.   Unfortunately, they have no idea how bad their operations are because most of them have never worked at another b/d.

I won't say they are evil or that they try to cheat me, but if I had an opportunity to do it over, I would never have come to SAI.
