For those that haven't gone down this path yet.  What's holding you back?  The systems available to you right now are very powerful and could build you a huge list of prospects.  Do you have a website?  Are you using it for more then just to say "I've got a website"?

[/quote] The fact that it is a waste of time... The main prospects are 50 and older and although they are getting more internet savvy, most don't troll for financial advisor websites... plus 65+ definitely are not computer literate and hate having anything emailed to them (Prospectuses, statements, etc)...

Squash - you are way off on this. I have many clients over 60, they ALL - I MEAN EVERY ONE OF THEM - are online. In fact they are the ones who check their accounts online TOO often. One of my best clients is 78 , he is online all the time.
