I live in a bedroom community of a large metro area. About 100k people live in my community. I'm considering purchasing some spots on the local conservative talk station. They are charging about $6,000 for 13 weeks of 15 daily 60 second spots and extra time througout the weekend. National talk hosts will give a personal ad. In addition, the station will produce the spot with me. I'm a fee only independent investment advisor that provides financial planning as well. Not a product guy. Curious to know if this has worked in other areas and if I need to be providing something free for prospects to call and receive. A few threads have mentioned that. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thinking of inviting folks to call in if they want to attend our next luncheon or dinner (but not provide the date).
