A friend brought me into Primerica. I got to admit… I LOVE THE TEAM BUILDING STUFF! I LOVE IT! No more being a peon or some other guys bitch who’s managed to become a manager at some firm somewhere.

HOWEVER… That being said. I just don’t like life insurance. I’ve got a bad belief system. I cannot make any money at Primerica cuz to me (belief), Life Insurance is about the most worthless unwanted product in America. I am a SUPER SALESMAN and can sell ANYTHING and HAVE! But after being at Primerica and seeing how much ‘arm-twisting’ people do to sell a policy, including using the credibility of a new recruit to get into a new warm market, and then seeing how many clients ultimately drop their policies… I just have the worst belief system in the world. I cannot spend my life trying to twist people’s arm to buy some crap their just gonna cancel later. Someone has got to change my belief system on Life Insurance, or I’ve just got to find another path.

40% of families with children under age 18 said they would have immediate trouble paying expenses if the primary breadwinner died.
Connect the dots, a ‘SUPER SALESMAN’ would.
Why would you twist anybodys arm that doesn’t want it? Find people that need and want what you offer, your ‘team building stuff’ and belief system is irrelevant to finding matches. Sounds like you’d be better served selling a different product, just don’t go about it backwards and blame the product.

Yeah, I suspect the first time you deliver a benefit check to a family whose bread-winner had just died, your mind might change a bit. It’s a pretty amazing experience, and it justifies the effort.

First: Check out Primerica. They’re kind of shady.

Second: Kingbobby is right, you’re not twisting arms. You’re just offering a product and if someone wants it, they’ll buy it. If they don’t, they won’t. You cannot force someone to do something they don’t want.
