I scheduled a small seminar on bonds back in August and didn't have a great response.  I only had 4 prospects respond so I decided to get on the phone and invite a few clients so I didn't have to cancel and the small number of people didn't feel strange in such a small meeting.  So I had a total of around 12 people come to the seminar.  I thought it was a wash at first since I didn't set any appts, but  last week I followed up again with the attendees and set an appt with one of the prospects.  I met with her last week and she showed me her Fidelity statements and asked for suggestions.  The assets there totaled about 1MM in her IRA's.  I asked her how much she had outside of her IRA's and she said over 3MM.  After some discussion and reccs she set a second appt and said she just needed to decide if she was transferring everything to me or just the IRA's.  I meet with her again around the 15th
