Best prospects?

Im going to be cold calling and sending out mailers with an article. Im looking for prospects who would mostly be interested in real estate investments, such as close ended REITs and the such.
Who would you recommend? (small business owners, ect.)

I agree with Vin Deisel. People IN real estate have an unhealthy obsession with real estate. It is very hard to close someone in the real estate business on a diversified portfolio. Many feel that they would be better off investing in real estate than anything else. Perhaps the events of the past year and half have changed some minds but I doubt it.
Try calling them and pitching something real-estate related. I have been talking to exec’s at REIT and real estate development firms around here about International Real Estate. There is a MF that I use and it makes for a good conversation with them… It also works with realtors and those people who have a large portion of their net worth in properties…
I called some real estate types when I was looking at buying a condo down in FL. They were very receptive and helped me out a lot. The person I ended up working with…well, I pitched her 6%…
Try pitching the REIT’s to HNW buisiness types as a way to diversify while that market provides future growth opportunities. Many of the real estate types right now are scratching for some business…
