Did anyone actually attend this... I meant to just to see what it was... but completely forgot about it..

Just curious..if it was product pushing(his portfolios) or if it was actually helpful..

I attended. No product pushing whatsoever.

As far as content, it was ok. Good stuff, as a prelude or setup to more indepth ideas. As a standalone, it was just ok. Stuff that anyone who thinks about their business already knows.

But my understanding is that it is the first in a series, i have a feeling taken altogether with the follow up it might be worthwhile.

i just engaged in a coaching relationship which starts in May, so i may have to pay less attention to the advisorcontrol thing, can't spread myself too thin and be all over the place.

I watched it.  Pretty good.  Dragged a little with some of the touchy-feely stuff, but not bad.  It was really focused on what direction you want to take your practice and how you want your practice to evolve as it relates to your personal life (i.e. do you want to build an empire, or have 50 clients and a pretty simple lifestyle with a decent income).  It was good for people that spent years as a "producer" at a wirehouse or something and are trying to go indy and get a better quality of life.  Or maybe an indy that needs to gain better control of their practice.  Hopefully his follow-up videos will have more nuts and bolts.
