i was named in a suit brought on by an ex client. this client closed his account 2 years  ago,im with a new firm and no longer with the firm thats also named in the suit . i just received the claim from finra today.the client is suing for 600k in damages.i dont have 600k to pay the client and also no money for a lawyer,what in the world can i do???

There is nothing more expensive than a cheap attorney.  Find the money, your livelihood depends on it.

Funny, but as I was reading your response that kept saying if he can't afford this, then try this next thing, I kind of expected your last statement to say and if all of those things don't work, I'll do it pro bono.  I figure you probably get paid so much to be a contributor to RR that you can give away your legal expertise for free!
