How long have you been there?

When I signed my contract I remember a part stating that I need to pay back $75000 if I leave within 3 years. I'm far from that and I would like to start my own independent practice. Does anyone know if it is only if you leave to go to a broker/dealer or can I somehow erase my series 7 and 66 and take the Series 65 and do everything on my own? Steve.

Daniel aka Steve aka WannabeIRA or who ever you are, what did you find out at EJ that makes you feel this way? And how can any one help you if you delete your posts? There is an amazing amount of information in old threads on your very question. Look around, use the search function and see if you can find what you're looking for.
