Hello RR members,

I'm a newly licensed FA and want to understand the products we sell better than I do now.  I'm wondering if there's a book (or books), similar to a textbook, that explains stocks, options, ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, & etc. in detail.  I want to understand everything I can, essecially valuation, regarding these and other securities.

I guess what I'm looking for is an 'A' to 'Z' book covering securities and investment.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I thought I responded to this in another thread but that thread was moved.  The best book ever written on investing is " The intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham.  He was Warren Buffett's mentor. The book contains some of the things you mentioned, especially valuation.  Ben Graham is known as the father of value investing.
