I have a client with a life insurance policy that had his Daughter and Granddaughter listed as primary beneficiaries with 50/50 split. The client has dementia and the Daughter has a power of attorney now. She just changed the beneficiary to just her 100% and named her two kids as contingent, and she removed the granddaughter completely that was listed before.

Is there any recourse on this? This is in Tennessee. I sent a message to the state insurance office to see if they could give me guidance on this situation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
