Looking at joining a wirehouse as a trainee. For those of you who started at a wirehouse, do you think the experience(good or bad) helped you with your career? It seems that eventhough there are a lot of regionals,banks, indys and jones, that the wirehouses still have the majority of the $500K+ accounts.

I left a wire a few months ago to go indie.
I would say for training, if you need a structured program, (some do some dont) you cant beat the wires.

MLGONE - +1 - Was at the wire just under 10 years, and the training really helped me - i would have been in deep doody if i went indie out of the box
