I am amazed at the amount of posts some of you manage to put up.  I mean I have been pretty active here lately, but most of my posts are at night.  I log on from one day to the next and a discussion I was involved in has morphed to a totally different topic 10 pages later.

Are you seeing any clients?  Today was a good day, I added new clients 1.4 million transfer at 9:30. did a 200K rollover at 11, a 55K rollover at 1 and met with a prospective client who has about 300K he is unhappy with at 4.  I also had a walkover who has 90K and just retired, but didn't have time to talk so I scheduled him next week. Did two reviews opened a couple of IRA's - No lunch left at 7:30...  Not a bad day

That is a great day! The bank is a great place  for a rep!

Merry Christmas.

Good deal BankRep.  I have been wondering about that job.  I imagine the prospecting is easier.  I have heard the payout is low-10% and that you have to work 9 to 5.  I like the flexible hours of being a broker.

Honestly I think I would go crazy working in a bank, but that depends on how much I could make.

My payout ranges between 25% - 40% depending on my month

Good job bank rep.

I posted WAY too much the past couples days...I am cutting it back.

This place can really suck you in.  Especially if you get caught up with Mike… Ooops I mean Steve B.  He’s a bulldog… don’t let him get your pantleg.  Ouch!

What about your hours in the office? or in the bank I guess.

Dec 24, 2005 5:03 am

My hours depend on my appointments.  My normal schedule is 9-5. I sometimes take an hour for lunch depends on whether their is business to pursue.  Sometimes I stay til 7, sometimes I have had enough and leave at 1.

I imagine anyone that leaves all the time at 1 would never be successful.

Anyone that thinks 40 hours is alot is a piker.  My usual week is 50+

Yes, bankrep1, you are the hardest working, most focused advisor on the planet…keep it up, and start a thread any time to solicit  pats on the back.  We hope to all grow up to be like you.<!–

"If you think I started this thread for recognition your a fool Cowboy."

Hey genius, if YOU’RE going to advise people of such prodigious wealth as you are meeting with on a daily basis, you may want to learn the language.  “Your” is used to show possession, while “you’re” is a contraction meaning “you are.”  Glad I could help. <!–

Cowboy if I cared about grammar I would of pursued a career as an English teacher.  I never re-read the posts I type, because I simply do not care.

Once you fail as a broker, and given your name screen name, I am sure you will, maybe you can be an english teacher.  Look at all those commas....
