Exactly the same thought crossed my mind…but I decided not to waste even a moment pondering or posting about it.

trisyn,

&

joedabrkr,

I do not post much on this site.  I get answers to my questions via pm's.  Sampson has expressed an interest to be helpful for doesn't post much.  Plannercoach (sillohette) doesn't seem to post here anymore - he seemed polite and helpful.

Am not the poster or posters? you loved to hate but am a female a realtor in NM-Albuquerque but due to r.e. slump, investigating switching careers.  I realize that you don't like non reps posting here especially after what lengths you resorted to therefore get any info via pm's but am limited in this regard to reps who are willing to help via pms - don't concern yourselfs with me. I won't post much here .

Not sure if I can be both a realtor and fa -wondering if I could balance these two careers that is when one is down can make money in the other one to have a good money flow?

Posted once before on the guitar post and the joke topic today was surprised that there were so many guitar collectors among reps.  Assume they must play, too otherwise why collect unless they are good collector items.

If I do, you and your bud, Joey the Grump, will be the first to know.Ya can't leave me alone, can you.

Silohette was chased off the site when 'someone' kept violating his anonymonity by mentioning his name to include another certain someone who couldn't take a compliment by a parody name (bondsguydog). :role eyes:  He stopped posting here: he got tired of being bashed.  Maybe he should have contacted the media (or the FBI) &/or sponsors re: how he was treated on TGP.

So you've essentially admitted that you are "fighnancy" as well.  Big shock...::rolls eyes::.

'bondguysdog' was not a compliment...it was an insulting attempt to siphon credibility from a long established and well respected board member.

I mentioned siloette's FIRST name, only to let him know that I knew it was him back again shortly after being banned.

For all I know(or suspect) he may be back here posting under another name, and that's all fine by me.  He's at least made attempts to add useful or entertaining content to the community....unlike yourself, where the posting is all about you.

Fighnancy:

It isn't that we don't want non reps to post here, although this is a forum for professionals in the business.  What we (speaking the the royal we) object to is the trolls who are here to distract, pick fights, who are belligerent, stupid, dense and want to set up conversations with themselves.  There are a lot of non reps who are truly interested in changing careers to become financial advisors and you will see that they have had courteous answers to their questions by many who have frequented this forum for some time.

We do get tired of people asking the same questions, over and over and over when they could easily use the search function and find numerous conversations on the subject.  We also cannot give investment advice.  Discussions about investment theory, bond portfolios, the pros and cons of certain types of investments (annuities) as generalities, but no investment advice.

You must understand that we are all busy people who mostly frequent this forum to get information, share a story, get a laugh..  Think of it as an Internet water-cooler.   Many of us have been in this business for years and want to encourage new reps and struggling reps.  At least that's my reason for focusing on this board.

It is true that you can be anyone or anything you want in the Internet.  Unfortunately some people choose to be a-holes and jerks.

am a female a realtor in NM-Albuquerque but due to r.e. slump, investigating switching careers

If you have some legtimate questions you should post them.  You should also realize that many of these new trolls are not reps and are giving advice that they are not qualified to give.  I would be like my asking your local 7-11 clerk on how I should get into Real Estate in your town.  The advice would be worth about as much as a giant slurpee.

I am new on the site.  I got a pm from Sampson but then he must be traveling and hasn't answered my questions.

I'll probably start interviewing with companies and get more information this way- it's just not sure if I want to accept the job until I get more information.  Please give me some tips on what to search on- "newby info>?"  As a person investigating the field, I'm just not sure what to search on and the search doesn't seem to work that well.  For example, I searched on exact words in a post and the thread didn't even come up in the criteria.

I don't care to playact and just don't have that kind of time.

It would be helpful if this information could be under a 'newby' topic.  If you don't know enough about a field then one is not clear on what to search on if you get my drift.

RE has slumped in many areas not just in my town.

I don't care to post and prefer to get answers to my specific questions from pm's since I don't like to waste my time.

I will wait to hear back from Sampson.  thank you, Dust Bunny.
