What is the typical type of compensation mix for Private Client Services at a major national bank?  What type of freedom to they typically allow with products, and commission vs. fee based advisory accounts.

Thanks to anyone with expertise in this area.

What does Private Client Services mean to you?  It means different things to different people.

Do you mean a regular retail FA?  Trust department?  Please be more specific.

At many of the larger national banks it is the division which handles accounts in excess of $500,000 or those with an exclusive net worth (new worth less residence) in excess of $1,000,000.
