What do some of you MS folks think of Mack’s $40 million bonus?

Must be nice. I wonder what he does with it. I’d like to see his portfolio. I’m sure most is tied up in MS stock.

Big deal, even with the bonus, he still doesn't meet my account minimum. Now, back to my yacht party...

The  numbers get so large it’s hard to really grasp, but, given what he’s done for the firm, morale and finance-wise (see today’s numbers), it seems well worth it.

Given that the numbers being bandied about at many Wall St banking firms

are so high that only a dog can hear them, I tend to agree. It’s hard to argue

with success.

It was worth it to get rid of Phil.

I agree completely, mike.  Purcell got a $45MM golden parachute to get out of dodge.  Mack's done a good job of turning things around.

*I do NOT recruit for Morgan Stanley*

And with the 15% (or is it 20%?) discount

good for him.  what's any of this got to do with me?

Mack is clearly underpaid. Shareholders have made a fortune.
