I must be really bored. I was flipping the channels and stumbled upon Suze Orman, who turns my stomach. I never watch her, in fact go out of my way to avoid her, but this time she was talking about ETF’s so i stopped and listened.

So here she is telling everybody in America to buy a dividend paying ETF, DVY. Her great advice is directed at “anyone who has 10-20-30 or 40 years till retirement” Her logic is that this ETF buys dividend paying stocks that are in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. I am cracking up, knowing this is crap!. So she continues why not buy these great companies in the Dow that will pay you to wait!!!

The facts are, this ETF, which I’m sure many of us know well, is 46% (as of August 31) Financials. Great diversification. And it has nothing to do with the Dow. Here are the top 10 holdings:
