It seems like the GOLD RUSH is on, I know several Edward Jones IRs that flew the coop instead of attending their Regional meeting this past month, but Doug 3 Mil Hill says they aren't loosing any.....How could that be?
Also the latest joke between Jones IR's is every 3 day weekend who is going to leave..... Watch how many IR's start switching their funds around in July when Jones finally almost levels with their clients about their fines, but will they fully disclose what happen?, acording to most Jones IRs the Firm did no wrong!
I know one self proclaimed IR on these postings that sent me an email and said I was right to tell him to look around, he was fed-up with the half truths coming out of StL he has left the nest....way to go I will not mention the name, but he is gone, perhaps he will come on and tell his story.............
I have not been gone long from Jones and every time I talk to a Jones IR all they ask about is how to make the move. I know a lot more would like to if they could for a minute distance themselves from the propogana coming out of St. Louis about how every other firm is evil, and that the only place to serve clients ethically is Edward Jones.
They also need to realize that their clients really did choose to do business with them. Not Jones. I am learning this everyday as people move over.

Based on your comment you are either a Drone or a clone either way, the 4th is coming up and it's another 3 day weekend, look for troops on the move.......Labor day is the next big weekend, I know of two that are leaving then

Checkout why so many successful IR's are Leaving.....They can't all be bad, can they? Get educated, learn, and leave...........
Player- There are over 9000 reps and you are talking about 2??? Give it a break. I know of 1 guy that left Merrill a few weeks ago, is that the end of Mother Merrill???
I just found out that my old “Visiting Veteran” from my training days left the firm. Over $100 million I believe.
We lost 9 in our region last week. All went to RJFS in Florida to visit our friend…

Jones but I don’t know how long I’ll be here.
I left Jones and went to Financial Networks Investment Corp. I interviewed with/ and was offered positions with/ Raymond James and A G Edwards. I chose FNIC & I have NO regrets. Independence, great payout, GOOD people, and deep pockets (ING- part of 9000 advisors strong/yet still independent!)

Sounds like you have a brain, leave before the Kool Aid gets too strong.........I wasted 10 years, if you are doing over 250K checkout your options......there are many out there
By the way I waited for 5 years for Jones to change, and they never did, in fact it got worse, if I hadn't of left I would be leaving as fast as I could right now, and do it on a three day weekend......

You're absolutely right. I do hate it when someone gets some "thong" for free. Kind of reminds me of an old Dire Straits song. As to your point about the office in Ft. Bragg, my response would be, "Yeah, but you have to live in Ft. Bragg, California. So, in my opinion, they earned it."
