I’m a freelance writer doing a piece for Registered Rep about dealing with clients who have Alzheimer’s disease or are showing signs of dementia. I’d like to hear from advisers who have faced this issue or had similar concerns about working with older clients. Even if you haven't personally faced this, I'd like to hear from advisers who can discuss this issue or have considered working with their firms to come up with guidelines for such cases. I understand the need for client confidentiality. Please contact me at [email protected] or Amy Burroughs at 704-965-6721.
