Congress Now Wants to Regulate College Football? Really?

Where does it end? A House subcommittee yesterday passed legislation that would force college football to switch to a playoff system to determine its national champion. The legislation, passed by voice vote in the House Energy and Commerce Committee's "trade and consumer protection" subcommittee, received only one "no" vote, by a Democrat, no less. I prefer the Libertarian philosophy of free markets, which is why it will be interesting to see what the gub'ment will do about the Comcast-NBC deal.

We should just ignore these idiots in Congress, perhaps they'll go away, get a job or something.
