Shelby George is the Practice Leader of Benefits Solutions at Manning & Napier. In this capacity she is responsible for understanding the diverse needs of defined contribution plan sponsors, their advisors and consultants, as well as identifying how Manning & Napier can help provide benefits solutions to meet those needs. Prior to joining Manning & Napier in 2011, Shelby worked at Wells Fargo Bank as an ERISA Attorney and Benefits Compliance Consultant, where she assisted plan sponsors with the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and wealth benefits plans.  Shelby earned her BA in Political Science from Westmont College. She earned her JD from the University of California Hastings College of the Law and is licensed to practice law in New York State. Shelby is also a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
