Barbara B. Ferguson

 

Barbara Ferguson focuses her practice on estate and income tax planning and probate law, marital property law, fiduciary administration, and charitable planned giving. Her expertise includes drafting wills and trust agreements for individuals, obtaining and maintaining federal and state tax exemptions for private foundations, business trust arrangements, family business planning, asset protection, probate and administration of decedents' estates, probate court litigation, tax planning in connection with divorce, and premarital agreements.

Barbara is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  She speaks regularly on estate planning topics at continuing education programs and has been an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.  Barbara has 12 animals:  7 horses, 3 dogs, and 2 cats.
