More than 800 Syracuse University students and alumni signed an online petition to disinvite Jamie Dimon, JPMorgan Chase chairman and chief executive officer, from delivering his scheduled 2010 commencement speech. According to Bloomberg, the student group, “Take Back 2010 Syracuse University Commencement,” created the petition because they were “against using the 2010 commencement to restore the public image of the banking industry.”
