Goldman Sachs Asset Management hired David Holdreith as vice president and portfolio manager of the firm’s fixed-income team. Prior to joining Goldman, Holdreith served as a portfolio manager at AAM Insurance Investment Management in Chicago.
Evergreen Investments has named Bill Taylor as president of managed assets. Taylor joins the asset-management firm from MFS Investment Management, where he served as director of private portfolio management.
In addition to his current position of CEO at JP Morgan Chase, the firm’s board of directors has elected Jamie Dimon to the position of chairman of the board. Dimon succeeds William Harrison, Jr., who retired in December 2006.
E. Robert Theriot, a Merrill Lynch complex branch manager in Houston, retired after serving 34 years with the firm.
